Serious question, Rik, when we dream, does our brain create an imaginary reality for consciousness to experience, or does our consciousness take a trip through an alternative reality?

My consciousness had separated from my body and I seemed to be next to it. I was watching like an observer or a bystander........... ..........I was taught and trained and asked 1000 questions while getting 10,000 answers. I became aware of coherences, that I never before I would never remotely would have guessed. My patient 'teacher' was leading me into all realms being important for me.............. .............. My teacher instructed me about what it meant to really accept the physical body for what it IS: A vessel, enabling us to have our experiences in duality as a human. A vessel that wants to be 'inhabited' by our higher consciousness, and which is longing for connection.......... ..............Did you feel separated from your body? Yes I could hear what doctors said, what my parents or the male nurse in the hospital room said to me. I clearly left my body and existed outside it .............. .......................How did your highest level of consciousness and alertness during the experience compare to your normal everyday consciousness and alertness? More consciousness and alertness than normal. Everything happened at the same time, without limit. I knew EVERYTHING and was EVERYWHERE, all at the same time. ............. .............Were your senses more vivid than usual? Incredibly more vivid ................. What is your religion now? Do not know. No particular religion. Today I know that everything is connected and every religion is too narrow for me. We are so much more than what could be put in a frame by a religion......... ..........Do you believe in the existence of God after your experience? God definitely exists........... ...........Do you believe in an afterlife after your experience? An afterlife definitely exists. Yes I was shown how our physical body will turn to dust, while we will find ourselves in a wonderful state of detachment and connectedness. I also could experience, how we choose a 'new' body and a 'new' family, to be born again............. .............How accurately do you remember the experience in comparison to other life events that occurred around the time of the experience? I remember the experience more accurately than other life events that occurred around the time of th Many other experiences have faded completely, but I know THESE experiences in every detail......... ...........What did you believe about the reality of your experience shortly (days to weeks) after it happened? Experience was definitely real I can still remember exactly every word, every feeling and every realization. In the weeks and months after, everything got a much greater sense for me. My body was healing much faster and more comprehensive, as the doctors would have expected........ What do you believe about the reality of your experience now? Experience was definitely real I can still remember exactly every word, every feeling and every realization. In the following years everything got a much greater sense for me. It's still for me the MOST IMPORTANT EXPERIENCE of my life, and the greatest gift......... Our dreams are conditioned by our karma and our consciousness. Our brain is not us so it can not possibly start any action unless dictated by our consciousness. A perfect human being does not dream because he-she doesn't have to put up with karma but perfect people are a rarity so most people dream and these dreams are a result of our karma that force our consciousness to put together a dream whether this dream is nice or is similar to an hallucination and of course is in line with our karma.
How about you, Rikky. Are you a perfect human being or do you still have dreams of achieving total domination of your consciousness?

Let you know how that goes soon. (April 30, 2017 at 8:58 pm)Whateverist Wrote:(April 30, 2017 at 8:23 am)Little Rik Wrote: My reputation is only 7 Whatever while yours is a whopping 128. What a big disappointing Whatever! As far as you say........I try.........then you will fail for sure. By saying......I try.....you admit that you are not sure about the result but if you say........I go and walk on the water then you know that you are going to succeed. But there is a catch son mate. In order to build up the realization that you will succeed you got to go through a lot of hard work both physically-mentally and spiritually and that is a long long way away considering that you still think that the universe pop up as per magic.
Piece of cake. Went back and forth across the pond a few times. The only difficulty was keeping my balance. Surprising how slippery water can be.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'
