RE: How has Trump impacted your life personally
If I won the lottery, would that change myself? Yep, I would get the hottest babes, the best bankers and politicians by my side.

I like being poor finantially.

There are 3 things that fool a man:

1. Half a cup of wine
2. Easy women
3. Light Rain

I dunno if it's a form of government... I don't know much about corporations, business or politics.

But I do know that capitalism works and alternatives don't.

But certainly capitalism can be taken much too far.

I think me and you should do a political compass test. That will let you know where I stand on the line between capitalism and socialism.

That's pretty much what mine looks like. Interesting I seem to disagree with everything you say.

In his case, it's probably attributable to cognitive dissonance.

biggest and most annoying is I'm most likely losing a really good friend (and someone I'm closer to than any relative of mine) of 40 years because I just can't stand his snowflake demeanor any more. He was also harassing (!!) electors in his state after November 8 and before the electoral college.

We've both been thru the Reagan/AIDS era together and he was so much more together and capable about all the challenges we faced then it is just amazing how he has changed now, and not for the better at all.

Your Political Compass

Economic Left/Right: -7.5
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -6.0

I can't seem to copy the graphic on my tablet. Basically I'm just slightly more fiscally liberal than Hammys position, but nearly identical on the social location.

Cool test.

Really? Did you cash out your 401K? No? Then how the hell did you make money? Do you remember the last time when the stock market added 3 trillion in 6 month? It lost 9 trillion in the following 6 month. When was the last time, in your opinion, when the acute exuberance of the stock market manipulators, giddily salivating for a few month at the prospect of becoming even richer purely by giving less back to a society that enabled them to be rich in the first, actually portended a sustained expansion of the economy that might benefit little prayer besotted worms like you?

Or maybe he's secretly a rational person and is just trolling this site by playing "Devil's Advocate" to get a rise out of us for expressing support for a President who's basically a combination of George Wallace, Richard Nixon, and The Joker in an Armani suit.

And here's my Political Compass Chart:

And to answer the OP, my therapist is starting to lose her optimism in the face of a Trump presidency.
