RE: Do christians believe in Witchcraft?
Yep. Exactly as effective as the millions of priests out there. You know the ones, those that are closer to God.

There are just as many sorcerers out there as there are faith healers, astrologists, palm readers, etc.

Are they effective in their proclaimed skill set?  Not so much...

Can't remember who said it, but it's very true.

hell, how many True Christians are clearing out the hospitals with laying on of the hands ??

The verse does not say whether the sorcery had to work or not, but as far as I'm concerned people who mess with the occult are only asking for trouble.

You really wanna run with that?  The inspired word suggests we kill people who -can't- do sorcery, but think they can?  The inspired word, wink wink, nod nod, doesn't believe in sorcery...but does believe in executing idiots incapable of doing the harm for which they've been accused?

What sort of trouble do -you- think they'll be in? Demons appearing in their ritual circles and whatnot.....or? Just wondering whether I can put you in the yes and make it an even 300%, or you're the dissenting opinion on the OP Q among participating christians.

Only a few getting arrested.  But that's because they try a different type of "laying on hands"...

Worse is that any number of people who believe they can do witchcraft when they actually can't would be mentally ill.  Thus encouraging the murder of mentally ill people for thinking they can do something they can't.

Well, not that extreme maybe, but yes, they are inviting malevolent spiritual forces into their lives.

RE: Do christians believe in Witchcraft?
Right, so that's a whopping three times as many christians who believe in sorcerers than there are sorcerers on this planet, so far..at the least.

I'll be honest, I was kind of hoping you'd disagree.  It would have been clutch....because then, only 66%ish of christians (in thread) believed in witchcraft.  That would have been alot better for the optics. Guess we'll roll the dice again?

Anybody else want to chime in, come on, daddy needs a new minority report!
