I would have replied sooner, but it was time for the penguin on top of my television set to explode.

I love when theists run to Hawkings a person who has stated over and over he does not believe god created the universe . And finds the idea of a prior state to the first moment of time absurd. And has stated that the universe has existed for the whole of time . And any prior state is loopy .

As a layman, for me, this is the biggest illustration that you haven't updated your knowledge for, what, 30 years or so. Most physicists do not 'believe' that the universe is 'past-finite' because that's not what the evidence tells us.

You have it ass-backwards. For decades scientists thought the universe was static/past-eternal, but contemporary evidence is forcing them to rethink that position.

Again, none of you know what you're talking about.

Fortunately for those of us in the real world, what you believe matters slightly less than nothing.

So I don't have to give back my diplomas and titles? That's a relief.

You could make me look like a moron (or an even bigger moron, depending on the observer) if you posted evidence that you're a physicist. But you won't because you can't. You're full of shit.

More so considering the thing is almost unreadable. I cannot in any way criticize the science, I'm in no position to, just the prose. I found it very hard going.

Not taking me seriously, yet, hanging around in the thread for hours on end, cheer leading and hand waving with his buddies, and pumping out his chest. Not to mention, him and his friends getting angry when I remain skeptical (ironic) when no evidence has been presented that demonstrates that he's a physicist. Let me put it this way. If he were really a physicist, do you think this is the kind of behavior he'd exhibit? I don't think so. I'd think he'd either completely ignore me--or he'd present evidence. He's done neither. Instead he's sticking around in the thread and trying to save face with his buddies. It's strange that a person would wave their credentials around without actually presenting any evidence of them. Or maybe he's delaying the evidence until the very end to maximize its impact. I doubt it.

Are you suggesting that I take his claim at face value on faith? Lol. You kids are ridiculous.

I'm really trying to figure out what this is all about. Are most of you sock puppets of Alex? Or do all of you know that I'm correct in my skepticism and are just pulling my leg? It's just bizarre that all of you decided to accept the word of some anonymous stranger on the Internet.

They are not my sock puppets. I am a forum bot designed to annoy people like you.
