That is not true.
Real people, real death certified by real doctors, real hospitals and places and real come back to life verified by real witnesses in the NDEs experiences prove that God exist and life goes on after the physical death.

An individual's personal experience is not evidence.
The doctor, after all, cannot verify what the patient experienced while s/he was dead.

Got any reports of people converting from one religion to another due to a NDE? Or an atheist converting to a religion thta is not the predominant religion of the community they live in? Somehow I doubt it happens often.

Furthermore, the burden of proof is always on the one making the extraordinary claim.
To state that god does not exist is not an extraordinary claim due to the fact that there is zero evidence to support the existence of stated deity.
To state that god does exist is the extraordinary claim due to the fact that there is zero evidence to support the existence of stated deity.
Actually every description of god beyond the deist one can in some ways be shown to not exist AS DESCRIBED. Contradictory claims vs. what the evidence shows are a really nice way of going about that. He-Who-Should-Have-Been-Banned is yet again using the maximum amount of characters to say absolutely nothing.
What we have is evidence that no god is necessary for anything. It would be a wasteful, extraneous component to exist and I don't know that any theist would be willing to latch onto THAT for their god concept.
The fact that every moral system in every religion is based around what humans already believed in and is in no way divine and proves that more evolved humans can devise moral systems far superior to those of religion, and therefore are vastly morally superior to any primitive (is there any other kind?) concepts of gods.
Any god that withholds knowledge, love, etc., from its creation cannot by definition be loving or want a genuine relationship. This is entirely conditional and no sane human goes about forming relationships in this way. So based on the lack of effective communication and compassion, the gods being proposed by our resident theists must be indifferent, or assholes, or nonexistent, and any concept that includes the aforementioned positive attributes is utter rubbish and should not only be dismissed but openly mocked and the credibility of those who espouse it questioned.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.

An individual's personal experience is not evidence.
1) Individual?
There are a myriad of these experiences not just one.
2) Do you know what the word VERIFIED means?
I don't think you know so let me explain what that means.
It means that what these people saw during their NDE was verified by witnesses and that is the evidence that their experiences were real.
These witness were doctors, registered nurses and other people as well.
Are you such a fool that think that doctors and other people that studied for years and years are idiots that are telling stories?
They have no interests in telling stories nor the people who had these NDEs so why should they tell us bulls?

noun
1.
a single human being, as distinguished from a group.
As for verification, there is no way for anyone to know precisely what another person experiences in his/her own mind. I can have the entire world around me as I dream, but not a single one of them knows precisely what I am dreaming. I can have the entire world watching me as I lay dead on a hospital table for six minutes before being revived, but not a single person can verify or know precisely what I was experiencing when I was dead.
Now stop being so goddamn retarded.

Is a pity that you didn't read any or much of the NDEs experiences.

If you would have you would know that 99% of these people stop believing in religions or atheism and they engage in spirituality.
But I guess you wouldn't even know what spirituality is all about.
Do you?

Wrong once again Lut.
Many of these people could see from above their dead bodies and what doctors or nurses were doing or saying.
Not only that but they also could see inside other rooms where they never been before and describe what was inside.
All was verified as true.
You can't go wrong with that Lut.

That is the individual informing others of what s/he personally experienced. That is not the others verily knowing what that individual personally experienced.
I can say I saw a pink unicorn prancing around the hospital while I was dead, but no one else can verify whether that was what I experienced or not.

I figured as much. NDEs mean nothing. Spirituality has no more merit than any other superstitious belief.

I often wonder how much of what we say to Rik gets lost in translation. I feel as though he's using google translate to interpret what we are saying.
