Also, it's irrelevant if reddit allow you to edit posts. Reddit has a completely different structure and feel to AF. Its a link sharing site, not a forum.

Okay that's fair.

But hear me out SC told me of all the times he's been here that he could count on one hand the amount of problems people have had with the 120 min edit restriction. So if it's such a rare occurrence why can't your admin team accept small requests? All I wanted was a small change. I just wanted to change '0/1' to '1/0'. How much hard work is it to click a few mouse buttons and make such a small edit. I didn't make any unreasonable request just a small one and all this thread admins have been slinging insults at me but if I insult back you guys will take that as an opportunity to ban me or if I report a user that is insulting me you will ban me for "false reporting". What am I supposed to do in a situation like that?

I thought you were dropping this, Pool.

Be the bigger person and learn to let shit go - or is that lesson lost on you?

And this is why I asked you to stop misrepresenting Staff responses. Because now you've got yourself worked up over something that only you created.

I'll try to illustrate what I mean:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I'm not at all worked up. I mean, you read Shell B's post right? I wasn't even conversing with her, she just came out of the nowhere and called me a twat, bitch and asked me to "shut the fuck up" following up with other two other admins "SteelCurtain" and "Cthulhu Dreaming" giving her props for slinging unwarranted insults at me. If it was me that made this kind of a post anywhere I would instantly receive a warning but I don't even have the confidence in this forums Staff to even make a report on her because I know you guys will just use that as a opportunity to either give me a warning or ban me. So I don't think you guys are being fair here and I'm going to put it out in the open for others to see as well.

Shell B is not an Admin. You've gone from complaints about Staff not granting your requests to Staff insulting you. I don't see any evidence of that.

CD called my suggestion "bitching".
Losty made fun of my upbringing.
SC and CD gave props to Shell B for slinging insults at me.

Is this how admins work? Giving props to someone that just started insulting me out of nowhere and for what a simple suggestion? A small request? That's not fair.
I know even if I did made a report on her post you guys will just use that as an opportunity to warn me instead. I just saw SC and CD not having any issue, in fact encouraging a post that was clearly made to flame me to the maximum, so if I did make a report I already know SC and CD will not like it and there will be internal pressure within you admin guys to agree with them, so you'll finally decide to just either give me a warning for "Report abuse" or ban me.

That's not a fair admin team and I have no problem putting it out in the open for everyone else to see.

You keep representing this as you against the staff. You're not that important, and you shouldn't feel bad about that. Very rarely does the staff unite in aggravation against a member, in my experience. Even then, they still have to follow the rules they set forth for themselves or vote laboriously on whether they should change them.

For the record, it's perfectly fine if you insult back (within the flaming rules, if those still exist), to my knowledge. (Remember, I'm not staff. I'm just trying to respond with what I know.) The staff don't get special treatment in that regard. It doesn't make you a bad person. Even this bitching doesn't make you a bad person. It just makes you look like a grudgy tool who definitely misrepresents how he's being treated by staff, which he can't even tell apart. Admins and mods are different, yo.

Okay, they don't accept the "small" requests because A. it would get out of hand and B. they already have a lot of "clean up" work behind the scenes. They don't get paid for this. They get compensated by threads like this. Again, quote the post and make the change. When you misspeak in life, do you flip out and demand to turn back time? No. You correct yourself later. Do that here.

And AFUCKINGGAIN, you will not get banned simply for insulting staff. I would complain about that, as would everyone else in this forum. Yes, if you report a user for insulting you, you are "false reporting" because it's not against the rules to call you a wanker.

CD wasn't calling you a bitch; he was commenting on your behaviour. And sorry, but continually complaining about something that has been explained again and again is bitching.

Losty - who isn't an Admin either, btw - was poking fun at your petulance. Not at you personally.

As for Steel and CD giving "props" to Shell's comment: are you sure it was the hurtful language they were applauding and not, for example, the points she was making?
