The theory of evolution HOAX

RE: The theory of evolution HOAX
Is the catechism not "church teaching"?  Are the infallible decrees of popes not "church teaching"?

Where do you get your church teaching from...CL?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Again, relevant to the point I was making that belief in evolution is not against Church teaching.

Not relevent to his theory/discovery itself.

Um no, that institution has always been late to the party, they were against it long before they were for it. That same institution also took forever to accept the planet as being a globe and not flat.

Religion is forced to adapt, not because it has facts, but because it wants to remain relevant despite knowledge passing them by. But again, I am being fair because that is what all religions worldwide do. Adapt and try to retrofit rather than admit they made a bad guess.

Can you give me a list of their "scientists" ans what fields they have their degrees in?

The site lists the following

But as I have said having the credentials does not mean they act like scientists . When dealing in creationism . For instance I know of D. Russell Humphreys and yes he does legitimate work as long as it does not conflict with his religious beliefs . When it does scientific objectivities goes right out the window and he becomes a religious apologist.

True the Catholic church clearly accepts evolution . Thou not officially. It's pretty clear .

Interesting that they only have 5 actual biologists . And none of the are evolutionary biologists at that.

Well, need we say more after looking at that list of scientists with PhD's?? Condemning them all across the board is as absurd as it gets.

And for the record, the Catholic Church PERMITS belief in the theory of evolution AS LONG AS  the Catholic believes Adam and Eve were the first human beings infused with a SOUL. By doing so it is not a conflict with Catholicism, though it's still ridiculous.

-and that we're all descended from them.
-and that we're all gods creation and design.

IOW, it doesn't permit belief in evolution at all.  It permits it's believers to -call- their superstitious beliefs evolution™.

Actually evolutionary biology tells us that there was no and could be no original breeding pair of adam and eve from which we all descend, and that we are not the product of some intelligent design.

Ok, I disagree with you about creationism pabsta, but I don't think you're a poe anymore.

My theory personally is that at some point between apes and the human form as it is now (very very close but not quite), God granted "human souls" to one male and one female (Adam and Eve), in the form of intelligence to recognize morality.

I guess scientifically you could explain that as the first neuron/brain connection, or whatever it would be, which made the difference between an innocent animal and a human who is able to understand right from wrong, thus attaining moral free will.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

And I think that is an allegory for explaining the change from simple mammalian thinking to self aware sentient thinking.

I know you and the Catholic church make use of allegorical interpretations.  How do you decide when to go literal and when not?  It does seem that the trend over the history of the Catholic church is toward ever more allegorical interpretation, doesn't it?

Well then, the Catholic church would be wrong on the Adam and Eve claim.

How can evolution be ridiculous, when it has been observed, in the wild and in the lab?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

So what excuses are you going to use to dismiss all of these scientists . Aside conspiracy theories .

Quantity is not a sign of truth. At one time all scientists and medical doctors believed tuberculosis was only hereditary. One doctor determined it was actually spread through the air by coughing, and he was ostracized for saying so. Later it turns out he was right. So your list means nothing.
