Oh, it's The Host. 
The novel actually wasn't too bad. It think it might have been the Twilight author's first foray into adult fiction.
Could be wrong, though. Don't feel like looking into it.

Anyhow, I might check it out. How bad could an adaptation be? Big Grin

The acting was better than I expected with good -how do they say?- production values. I think the ending could be improved .. souls, hosts, sacrifice .. probably could have gone more lightly on the religious allusions. Still quite enjoyable. Thanks.
