Bravo, Wiz.  Well said.

But the WLB is not shamed by hypocrisy.

The Trumptards will of course try and say the Nazi fucks were peacefully protesting . But chanting antisemitic slogans while trying to menace a local populous is not peaceful . Nor is attacking a synagogue.

Yes AM. With great power comes great responsibility. Trump has every right to say he disagrees with what the athletes are doing, on a personal level. What he does not have the right to, as president, is demean the constitution. That, he is sworn to uphold, not shred to bits in a twitter tantrum.

This racist bullshit by Trump is going to blow up in his face. It has already spread to the NBA and it will filter down to the college and high school level too.

It has not spread to the NBA. All that's happened is the Warriors deciding not to go to the White House, then Lebron tried to make things about him by speaking for Steph Curry because Lebron knows he'll never make it back to the Finals himself, thus he'll never have the chance to turn down a White House invitation from Trump. I'm not saying Lebron was wrong in what he said, but he really should let Steph Curry speak for himself. I also think Lebron was probably thinking, watch me own Trump on Twitter, then I won't get any criticism when I fail to do what Kaepernick did and take a knee during the anthem before my games. Will Lebron take a knee every game and take the fine and whatever other consequences come with that? I doubt it.

Perhaps taking a knee is too subtle for a shitball like the WLB.

Maybe they should moon him instead.

1. His selling will be a fad

2. Idiots burning pricey stuff just makes them look like idiots

3. No it has not the NFL will be around long after Trump .

4. You can't hurt someone who has no dignity to begin with

5. No one cares about impressing fly over country . This was not about an election dimwit

6. The Steelers never said they would keep doing it . So they are not doing damage control on anything.

7. No their not .

8. Some times doing the right thing is not doing popular or profitable thing

It didn't hurt Trump....ah, his real main concern. Not, does it hurt America or American values, like freedom of speech, but does it hurt him personally.
His only real concern. Even his supporters recognize it, they are just to busy being yes men to realize it's also them that he hurts, in the long run.

That's because in order to be a WLB supporter in the first place you have to be a fucking idiot.

What kind of moron would believe his wall promises?  There's the answer to all questions about Trumptards.

Also love how the Right Wing Knuckle heads are trying to make  Villanueva a hero .when he agrees with the protestors

Quote:But as his anthem appearance became the subject of heated debate on Monday, he spoke to reporters in Pittsburgh and said that he had inadvertently gotten separated from his team.

He said he had intended to stand at the end of the tunnel where no one would see him, and watch from there as the anthem was played. But once he realized he was visibly outside, he decided he could not turn around and go back to where his teammates were standing, a few feet inside the tunnel.

“Do you walk out of the national anthem and join your teammates?” Villanueva said. “That would have looked extremely bad.”

He added: “I never planned to boycott the plan that the Steelers came up with. I just thought that there could be some middle ground where I could stay in the tunnel, nobody would see me.”

In past interviews, Villanueva has expressed solidarity with the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s sideline protests over racism toward African-Americans.

Quote:“Nobody thinks that when you’re taking a knee, you’re offending the flag,” he said. Similarly, he said, “I don’t think anyone standing for the flag is not respecting the fact that there is a lot of injustices and racial divide in our country.”

They have made a hero out of someone who rejects there own position . And might i add that buying merchandise still enriches the team .

Oh and the Steelers don't regret the protest merely how it was carried out .

Btw, if you harm yourself with an action is not, by itself, indicative of it's correctness. It makes little sense to say, hey, it isn't hurting me, therefore it's perfectly ok. That's a sociopathic argument right there.

As a matter of fact, those who are willing to be harmed to do what they think is right....that reminds me of a certain value Christians claim is near and dear to them. I guess that's just more hot air and lies.
