BABY ON BOARD signs
|
Those first appeared in the mid 80s. They irritated me because of the apparent implication that their baby's life was more valuable than anyone else's. They were rapidly joined with every copycat sign imaginable. Some I remember:
Alien on Board Mother-in Law in Trunk Stupid Yellow Sign on Board
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
I personally find the clubbing baby seals thing in very bad taste. That there are human beings who have no problem doing this depresses me. If I could get away with it, I would kill such people as defective units and get a good night sleep afterward. Not something I would joke about but that's me.

I hate the 'shit happens' stickers on cars.
I saw one the other day so I threw a rock threw their windscreen. Then I saw one that read 'magic happens', so I threw a rock through their windscreen and disappeared. These are my two favourite car stickers. 'Don't drink and drive, you might hit a bump and spill your drink'. 'If you think the car is dirty, you should spend a night with the driver'. I had that last sticker on my car when I was married and my ex made me take it off. Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I see a win/win. And we need to stop using the word preggers. Ugh.... stupidest word ever invented by people. Disclaimer: I am only responsible for what I say, not what you choose to understand.
It's not even shorter than the original word.
