A long time ago, in a galaxy far far....... No in all seriousness, I did a stint in central Va at a right wing radio station, mom and pop shop, mostly sports talk, but the morning show was right wing. Anywho, I once told one of the hosts that Larry Flint has done more for free speech than Falwell did. Oh, and that was in Falwell's town I worked and said that at.

Huge difference between confusing legal porn and lack of consent . Larry has always advocated for free speech and liberal ideas. 

Hustler used to have a segment called "asshole of the month", and 99% of the time those were all fucking right wing conservatives.

Larry once did a cartoon depicting Fartwell having sex with Tinky Winky poking fun of how Fuckwell was picking on an innocent kid's show.

Larry was shot and paralyzed by a bigot who hated the fact that he did a spread of an interracial couple having sex. Larry is also the one who was sued by Falwell for doing a parody add in Hustler depicting a fake booze add where Falwell got drunk and fucked his mother. 

In the REAL CASE, "The People vs Larry Flint" the SUPREME COURT while they agreed Larry's jokes were offensive, they sided with Larry. The reson was basically that Falwell was a celebrity, Larry was not passing the add off as fact so it didn't matter that the parody add offended Falwell.

This is easy to credit.  Canadians probably still think Americans are for real.

I saw that too, the worst part is that EVERY religion, including my well intended liberal friends always pull the True Scotsman fallacy, he did too, claiming the Taliban were not "True Muslims".

I certainly will take a liberal Muslim or Christian or Jew over any right wing nut every single day and twice on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. But, what our liberal friends as well intended as they are, and with all their rightful empathy don't want to face, is it does not matter what you think the other in your camp should do, but the fact they read the same book you do and come to very different conclusions.

And this includes ATHEISTS too. I don't agree all the time with my fellow atheists. I don't like what other individual atheists might do or say, but the fact remains, regardless we all share the same "off" position, despite not liking each other.

If an atheist says to me " I love Trump" AND THERE ARE, I could give one fuck less. Yes they are still in the "off" position, like me, but that does not change the fact we both hold the same position.

That said, will the payment of $10 million hinge on actual impeachment proceedings going forward? Because, by this point, it's like there are no more rules in politics anymore. I mean, there was serious talk about whether Trump committed impeachable offenses BEFORE EVEN TAKING OFFICE, and it's led nowhere.

Well, in reality an impeachable offense is whatever the House decides it is.

Well, in reality an impeachable offense is whatever the House decides it is.

And given that the Republicans control both houses of Congress AND the White House, and they've become more and more cabal-like in recent years, what sort of shit will actually be impeachable, especially given that it's clear he gained his office because Russia decided to manipulate things in his favour (possibly on his say-so, though that part hasn't been proven yet) and he remains safe.
