I think the real question is: why are people even considering theories of genesis that don't involve aliens?

Because maybe it wasnt a thing made yet. I mean if you think about it, Ezekiel has a alien story to it with the wheels swooping like a spaceship. So it seems more proof of aliens than god. But the theory is that since humans are so clever over all other animals " i mean intellectually advanced way of communication and behavior, not saying animals are stupid since they are quite bright" but some has gotten to the theory is aliens made all these great civilizations and intermixed some DNA with ours and left or something. Though i might be crazy for thinking that but its a nice theory i like to keep. Though most serious scientists or experts on history will debunk this though

I guess scientists feel its more worth their while to investigate claims that are "substantiated" (whatever that means). It's obvious to me that stonehenge was built using accoustic levitation. But I guess that opinion isn't "popular."

You made a good point referencing Ezekiel, though. This is the kind of thing scientists typically ignore.

What does it matter? If aliens intelligent enough to make humans can exist without intervention from some super-aliens, so can we humans. Besides, humans intelligence isn't that surprising considering there are loads of other species who show a pretty gradual evolution of intelligence. Heck even chimps can use toots and can paint similar to humans from the stone-age.

Too right.  I think it's a crying shame that the Nobel Committee keep failing to award the prize for Swiss Crackpots Talking Out Of Their Arse to Erich von Däniken.

No I don't, for the same reasons I don't believe a deity created us. I am very slightly more open to the idea that there has been contact with aliens in the past, but it's still 99% certainty that if they're out there, they're waaaaaaaaaaay too far out to know about us, much less particularly care about us.
