The increased tendency to cry doesn't come from weakness but is a product of hormones. Women are more likely to cry even if they are angry.

I've often seen male bosses bullying their male underlings who just accept it and bottle up the stress (instead of crying) and then pass it onto their own underlings. I've seen the same male bosses try it on a woman only for the woman to not submissively accept it. This normally flummoxes the boss.

An interesting anecdotal aside, is how much more composed the conservative members of this forum seem compared to many of their counterparts. Neo, Alpha, CL, and SteveII rarely devolve into hysterics. Those 4 usually come off as the adults in the conversation arguing with petulant children, even when I disagree with what they are saying.

It's certainly interesting watching a small minority holding the wrong opinion on a number of topics get the better of a large group of people holding the correct opinion.
