No, I take it as an insult because you make stupid generalizations about people you know little about, just as you did here. I was never indoctrinated into being an atheist as you like to assume. No one ever taught me to be an atheist, I just didn't find Christianity credible whe I went to church. I then came to the conclusion that the human mind has too much emotion invested into the question of whether a god exists to be objective. Also, I am constantly looking outside my view to help better understand my own, and I've never taken a position just because someone else did. When you say stupid things like that, you lose your position as the rational and logical person you strive so hard to appear as. Grow up and drop the ignorant generalizations. If you want to know my position on things just ask, but don't pretend to know a damn thing as to why I believe until you do.

Well you're definitely ignorant about that. Because there was no indoctrination. I didn't know anything about atheism, never heard about it till I was 16 years old. It was only when I was 16 that I learnt what an atheist is and it was then that I knew what I was. I learnt about it all on my own via the internet. Religion was the first thing I heard and learnt about. It's just that I couldn't believe all the shit they were telling me. No one pressured me one way or the other. Not even my family. So no frods, I had no indoctrination. I've already given my reasons for my lack of belief in an imaginary friend.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
