RE: AF Biggest Loser/Fitness Challenge-May 3 to Whenever We're Not Fat Anymore

I'm not fancy enough (or rich enough) to have bought this for myself but a friend got us two boxes of Blue Apron as a gift to help us out after Charlie was born and mannnnn did I feel healthy with those meals. They have enough to fill two people up for dinner and it has meat along with fruit and veggies depending on the meal. Last night we had chicken with avocado over top of a salad that consisted of kale, beets, orange slices, potato slices, and garlic. Everything is prepackaged (in recycled material) including the salad dressing and measured out. All you have to do is chop it up and cook the chicken. I chopped the veggies while I had Charlie strapped to me and my husband cooked the potatoes and chicken. So freaking easy! I don't even care for kale or beets but man that was a good meal. If we are feeling froggy and have an extra $60 every now and then I might get us another box.

Thanks for the suggestion. Our budget is going to get a lot tighter now that we are getting a second vehicle so that would have to be a treat once in a while.

Also I think I may have lost weight from cutting out the beer and having less takeouts
In either case I am not worried about my weight anymore.
MY OCD is getting bothered by
YOU not having a scale. That's just ridiculous brain! lol

Can I bother you some more by saying that I too don't have a scale?
Lol well I'm not keeping dabs on your weight loss for your health. I've become very... I wouldn't say mother figure but invested maybe in Hammy since I helped him with other things. You can take care of yourself lol

I kind of fell off the weight loss thing back when I wrecked my knee back in late 2016. The bad news is I had put about 12 lbs back on. The good news is that meant there were 27 I didn't put back on.
KG needs to drop some weight quickly to get greenlit by insurance for gastric bypass. I couldn't possibly eat good food in front of her so for the next couple of weeks I'm doing some pretty extreme dieting along with her (she is under the care of a dietician).
High protein, low fat, militantly low carb, and almost entirely liquid. 1200-1300 calories daily. I'm practicing mindful eating with the meager amount of solid food I'm eating. Obviously it's not any kind of a diet for sustained weight loss.
Yeah, it sounds crazy but I'm shedding weight.
