OK, Christians! I have my KJV!
RE: OK, Christians! I have my KJV!
LOL. ‘Abiogenesis of the gaps’. I like that one.

Wiser words were never spoken.

I'll give you this though, if it was proven tomorrow that conscience exists outside of the body, then I would believe that conscience exists outside of the body.

PS: I answered your question, but you didn't answer mine.

In the Bible there were Those who were able to turn their rods into serpents:

(Old Testament | Exodus 7:11 - 12)

11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

So much the same as you, I would believe that they did it.

Let "god" heal 1,000 amputees, and I'll believe.

If it happened then, why not now?

Mostly because of lack of faith. Faith precedes the miracle.

And, so, there are no believers around today who have a good enough "faith"?  Not even in places such as Africa where there is no Internet?

More faithful people alive today than have ever lived before..and we're supposed to believe that the reason miracles no longer occur is a paucity of faith?

LOL, nah, the reason miracles don't happen anymore, is because everyone has a camera phone.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I suppose you could suddenly have something worth saying, that would be a miracle. Make up your mind, can people turn a cane into a snake, or not? You have faith -and- a camera phone, I'll bet.

Pics or it doesn't happen.
