Yes they treat us like pets, acting like "the bigger guy in the room". No; to them baby humans are the "weird loud humanoids with bald heads".
Zero trying to play with Charlie. He put those balls there himself.

His condition had improved to the point where major surgery was not required so his neuter has been put off until he is six months old in order for his body to get the hormones it needs. At that point any vet can do the neuter. As predicted he was housebroken in a week and slept 8 hours the night before only getting up because one of the older dogs had to go out.
Our Placement team made a call on the afternoon of the 5th to a family which drove up to meet him the next day and adopted him on the spot. He's home.
Oh that's wonderful!!

That moment when you seriously spill a bag of shredded cheese because you thought you zipped it up proper, but didn't and now you are too lazy to clean it up with a broom...

Yeah they don't know a good thing when they see it. They all walked away after a few nibbles. Fuckers.

Cats do it, too.
On their terms, of course.

If it wasn't properly aged Cheddar I'm surprised they even sampled it. Carr Valley 10 year old cheddar is a hit around here.

Surprised me too. I've only known the finicky eating sort of cats. On the other hand, every dog I've ever known would have hoovered it all up in no time flat. My buddy had a lab named Boomer who would eat anything you threw in the air while eating - hamburger bun, pickle, lettuce, onion .. even a snail.
