Open discussion of the Christian Why We're Here thread
RE: Open discussion of the Christian Why We're Here thread
My aunt (PHd immunology) begins her 101 immunology class with the Mosaic instructions because they accurately correspond to the timing of the human immune response system.

The leper is already healed before the cleansing ceremony, your reading skills lack much and your desire should be to improve them.

Keep reading to Verse 33. More ridiculousness and magic without any insight into microbiology.

You dodged what I pointed out!

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Oh, I see! Once your cured of leprosy then you get sprinkled with magic bird blood. I am sure that helped a lot.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

14 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:
6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:
7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.

Sounds like a pagan ritual ...

GC has claimed that God told Abraham that the stars were innumerable and knowledge of stars not visible to the human eye was revealed.

"He took him outside and said, "Look up at the sky and count the stars--if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be."

I don't see it. Basically, this verse is saying Abraham can't count the stars he can see.

Odd claim given that the visible stars actually were counted in antiquity.

So I google "biblical mosaic instructions timing of the human immune response system" and get nothing. Care to step it up one?
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Not really. It's just an aside. She teaches at the University of Michigan and has been doing cancer research for the last 45 years. I trust her more than any random internet search. YMMV

No evidence then to  tie "Mosaic instructions" to immunology other than an aunt who is more than likely christian. Great.

Or she could be referring to something like this...

Which Neo promptly misinterpreted.
