Trump's doubling down on a trade war with the US's greatest ally and trading partner and we're talking about eyebrows?

I'd post the map of the 30+ states that list Canada as their #1 biggest export trading partner but I can't.

Granted this trade war is going to do more damage to us then it will to the US in the short term, but heaven forbid another 9/11 level event happens where you need us to provide a safe place for thousands of planes to land and for countless Americans to find safety...next time we might have to think about it a bit more.

You know cause we might have to consider the US a security risk.

I was simply pointing out the rumours are not true .But you're right that is far more important . And i also mostly agree with you the America's undermining their own economic safety with Trump's temper tantrums .But i disagree we need to wait long to see the negative effects on the US. And indeed if a crisis comes up we may indeed have to rethink our position on helping out for "security " reasons .
