Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

Or it's the fact that local  floods happen everywhere and your just biased to looking  things that favor your narrative

So smart people can hold absurd beliefs simply inventing laser does not mean you think rationally or a well informed on other matters .

Yay straw men and distortions and cries of "out of context" when it almost never is or does not matter because in context it just as bad or hell even worst . And the apologist must desperately try and explain it away .

I thought this thread was supposed to be like the Debate Solely Through the Medium of Memes thread where you respond to the meme in the previous post with one of your own so you'd end up playing both sides, but it's apparently more like a "post funny atheist memes" thread. Undecided

The only rule is to debate solely through the medium of memes. Like this thread, but the current thread is the religious version.

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

No memes from me. In Genesis we are told the garden itself was watered from the waters that came from underground and a mist, probably heavy dew, also provided water. No rain is ever mentioned until the time of the flood.
We have great cave systems that science wants to explain as erosion, yet from the flood story we can have the same thing by the great emptying of the ground water leaving behind the caverns it was stored in. In east Tennessee where I live we have an enormous amount of caverns and some of them are enormous, large enough to hold what some call the largest underground lake in the world. We have had large buildings being built, one being one of the largest football stadiums in the country to start having problems sinking. They were built unknown caverns and concrete had to be pumped into them for days and weeks to fill them enough to shore up the ground to keep them safe.

Genesis tells us there was a vale of water that surrounded the earth and as we all know water is one of the best things to shelter us from the suns deadly radiation, this could have resulted in the long lives of man and animals. We all know about the great asteroid that hit in the present day Gulf of Mexico. This asteroid could have released the waters as rain that surrounded the earth and the impact could have released the underground waters and the combination of the two flooded the world completely. This a reasonable explanation considering the size of that asteroid and the presumed impact power it had.

Science is discovering more and more underground water all the time and it has been to the amazement to science, all that flood water had to have a place to go and so some of it was returned to from where it came. These are just some things to ponder, I'm not saying this was an actual cause of the great flood.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Care to post a link to a peer-reviewed journal to substantiate the above?

Somehow I suspect that if the earth had to hold all the extra water necessary to flood the earth to a depth of five miles (to cover the top of Mount Everest), some of it would contact a volcanic system and the steam would blow the planet to bits.
