1. You forgot to add "In my opinion". I've already stated I don't agree with torture. I've said it several times. I've also said I don't accept incarceration as torture. But, the number who can be "saved" is too low to justify the risk. Remember, we're talking about rapists, serial killers, murderers, and other serious, usually repeat offenders here.

I make no bones about being miffed about giving serial killers and child rapists 3 square meals while there are law-abiding folks starving Or providing them with basically free housing and an (albeit uncomfortable) bed while others have to do with bus stops and makeshift tents. That's what I mean by wasted resources.

This sounds disturbingly similar to what Trump supporters say about refugees and illegal immigrants and my response is the same there no reason we can treat the worst and the most vulnerable .

That sounds more like an argument to increase our funding for the homeless and hungry than a reason to kill someone.
