Dedicated Atheist Website

RE: Dedicated Atheist Website
My atheism isn't an absence of religion. I dislike absence of religion too.
My atheism is an absence of a personal relationship with The creator.

I have poked around and could not find anything with worldwide coverage and focus on information.
If you would be interested, what sort of content would you like to see on such a site? Any feedback is appreciated.

It's a noble enough cause.
I would have been keen when I first became an atheist, angry about being conned for so long, I would have liked to be part of something that brings those bastards down.
But now I just don't seem to care much about it anymore.

RE: Dedicated Atheist Website
As noted, there appears little desire among atheists to organize and unify, unlike, say, humanists, but that's not to say that you couldn't start something. My only caveat is that there are already websites which address various atheist interests.

The proof is in the pudding. If you believe in something, try to make it a reality. If 2016 was any lesson, taking a poll isn't any guarantee that something will or will not be successful.

You never know what the market for something truly is until you put it out there. Heck, Joods' cat has a Facebook page with a healthy number of followers.

Oh do say more.  Xtians would be so much better off if they just jettisoned the ridiculous idea that their special secret friend created everything from scratch.  That millstone will bring them down eventually.

Yes he does. Nearly 1000. And what is he doing right now?

Sleeping, curled up on the other end of the couch.

Then, I hate to say this, but you aren’t an Atheist. Maybe you would better label yourself a deist or something.

I would find a comprehensive site that helps those transitioning to be helpful. Like how to deal with thoughts and feelings during the deconversion. Also, a pretty detailed list of great resources like YouTube channels, books, organizations and so on. Maybe this exists someplace, but I haven't found it yet.

Indeed.  They have to wise up and reject ancient superstition on their own.  No one can do it for them.

But we can make fun of them until they do.

What makes you think that?
