OFC they weren't expecting your christ. The idea of godmen is antithetical to the very core of their faith. Consider, though, what you just conceded. Whatever it is you believe, isn't what they were talking about. That was the first conceit of christianity, it's only superficially related to judaism.

I don't know why preferences even enter into a discussion of whether or not gen 3 had anything to do with some jesus. It didn't, still doesn't. That's one of the more absurd beliefs that some christians hold. Doesn't have anything to do with me or my life experiences..it's just flat out nonsense.
