Well the reason sex is so desirable is that we get together to make babies. Sure we can take away the baby part, but that doesn't take away the reason for the drive.

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Hehe. Of course no animal is driven to have sex. Babies are a random byproduct. It's a wonder any species survives really :S

It's a wonder any species survives really :S No, babies is what you have when you want to take advantage of the welfare system, and getting a place of your own quicker seeing as you now have top priority. Or through peer pressure. Not a lot of people are actually having kids for the sake of wanting to be parents.
