Dicks was not right because they wanted money, they were right because they realized the amount of firearm violence was not profitable.

I guess that's "Poetlogical".....

Panic
I wouldn't say least likely;  As far as The United States goes

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_shoot...ted_States

Of the 26 incidents listed 12 involved semi-automatic rifles.

A more accurate description would be they are comparable to any other given gun/rifle/shotguns.

I could give a shit less about types of firearms.

Handguns, or spray weapons, all of them are way too easy to access.

That's stacking the deck.

Look at FBI statistics on firearm fatalities. School/mass shootings are a small percentage of firearm deaths. The VAST majority are with handgun and over 1/2 of those are suicide.

Quote:" Spray weapon"?

Properly used, it applies to hand-held chemical weapons, such as pepper spray or ammonia squirters. Nothing to do with firearms, but I suspect Brian was thinking of full-auto weapons.

Which is what I tried to point out to him, many, many posts ago.  As we can see, I was less than successful.

Or they got rid of the weapons that are designed most to kill a bunch of people, and are less optimal for legitimate purposes like hunting or self-defense. Here was a quote I found from someone with experience as a hunter and a soldier talking about the M-16's use in both categories:
Quote:I served in the military and the M16A2/M4 was the weapon I used for 20 years. It is first and foremost designed as an assault weapon platform, no matter what the spin. A hunter does not need a semi-automatic rifle to hunt, if he does he sucks, and should go play video games. I see more men running around the bush all cammo’d up with assault vests and face paint with tricked out AR’s. These are not hunters but wannabe weekend warriors.

Yup..  ALWAYS believe everything what someone on the internet tells you - if it agrees with what you already decided anyway......

....

Don' t tell a hunter what he needs to hunt.

It's none of your business.

Especially when you know nothing about.the subject.

Which I'm betting you don't.

Have you killed a deer? 20 deer? 100 deer?

Honestly - I lost count decades ago.

But I just finished dinner. Venison spaghetti. It was delicious.

And I don' t need your twink opinion of how I go about it.
