That would really be a new perspective for the boards, wouldn't it, lol. Do I get to be the one to tell him that we've heard all of this before..or did that already get mentioned?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Ok, that's fine
You said: "Instead of being distinct because we have "divine reality" im fairly sure science says its because we have a conscious"
Well every animal has a conscious, that not distinctive.
You said: "I think you've tried to link our consciousness with God but failed."
Nope, not at all. Like I said all animals has consciousness, but it is only the human being has a divine nature and can manifest the qualities of God to the physical world.
Animals have a conscious now do they. Maybe in your mind but science disagrees. U should really look into that.
Human nature isn't divine at all, it's just human nature.
Can i ask where u got this argument from?

From christian values...among other things.

I know you want physical evidence, but here's the thing, that you wil never have, because the divine reality is not anything physical, it can only be manifest to the physical world.
You are on a mission, If not you'd be talking to us about other things besides your religion of ignorance.
It's because divine reality is nothing more than a fantasy you've been taught by others. Insisting that the fantasy is real is delusion. All those attributes that you insist are gods, are simply human attributes. They have been made into "god attributes" by humans for manipulation purposes. You've been duped.
It's not in the physical world but effects the physical world? What a bunch of horseshit. Next you'll be telling me the "it exists outside of time and space" dodge.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

But it's reasonable assertion because we see it manifesting around us all the time.

You got that right.
Quote:The only way to know God is to know His names and attributes.
Pity all we've got then is human mythology, wouldn't you say?
Quote:Even though the human being is an animal just like all other species, we are distinct because we have a divine reality.
We have a divine reality in the same way that Adolf Hitler was a philosemite.
Quote:The human being has the potential to display all of the names and attributes of God at the highest level, that's what makes us have dominion over the animal.
A) we don't have dominion over the animal, we're simply a slightly better adapted species of animal than most others (though we've nothing on the cockroaches for adaptability). And on the "names of god", it's an awful pity we don't put our powerful brains to better use than naming imaginary beings, like, oh I don't know, solving the absolute mess we've made of the enviornment.
Quote:The names and attributes of God are basically all of the good qualities that is possible for the human being to have, it's just that society doesn't call them that.
bull fucking shit.
Quote:The human being is the most perfect of all creation.
Yeah, and if you believe those lies, there's some nice land in Ukraine I'd love to sell you.

No, I’m not asking you to demonstrate that God exists. I’m asking you to demonstrate that such a thing as a divine quality exists.

And they are all traits we share, at least in aggregate*, with other animals.
*Us humans that is. You can find plenty of religious people, even baha'i that display exactly none of those traits.
