I'm sure Scorcese agrees with you 100 on that. I'm very far from convinced you're actually that grim, defeatist and pessimistic IRL RE humanity however as I've generally found you to be a decent, intelligent, witty fellow so there is that.
What you don't know about me would fill a supertanker.

I live in England. All the "Important" stuff about any individual could slip smoothly and silently onto a 16GB USB memory stick along with half a dozen Scorsese fliks at least. Supertankers? Get over yourself fam.

With Trump seriously considering cash payments to all Americans, the US dollar may soon be devalued to the point of losing its status as the world reserve currency.
(Russia, China and many others are already bypassing it and trading with each other using gold to pay outstanding balance debt every month ...Especially for oil)
May as well go to printing this directly. At least society may find it useful.

I doubt the devaluation is going to be all that serious. The initial rollout of cash will probably be in the $250 billion range. It the era of deficit spending, that's a doddle.
What may do more harm than good though, is the overall $1 trillion the US is looking to spend to brace up their economy. An infusion that large may do serious damage.

I'm hearing some horrific shit going on all over the world but especially in the US.
You know this is serious when the mobsters in Vegas can't keep their doors open!
Now Bars? Restaurants? Gyms? Cinemas? Qantas just grounded 90% of its fleet and asked 20,000 people to stay home! WTF!
Is anyone here affected economically yet?
Are you guys prepared to sacrifice this dumbo for a socialist with Alzheimers?
Well he's not wrong. The economy was doing well.

The highest govt debt in history
The highest corporate debt in history
The highest personal debt in history
The highest mortgage loan debt in history
The highest auto loan debt in history
The highest student loan debt in history
The most inflated stockmarkets in history with all the cheap money for buybacks
Deutsche bank almost insolvent.
And all this before the virus.
That hasn't been a healthy world economy for a while... All the bubbles need to pop. It's the natural cycle.
But because of the fed intervention, buybacks and repos, these bubbles are 3 times the size they would normally be if we let market only forces dictate prices.
All the feds and central banks, the IMF and the BIS all need to fuck off. They alone are agenda 30 (NWO).
