Is this accommodated in heaven? If the desire to do those things is removed from me, I am no longer me, making the whole exercise fairly pointless. It would just become a place full of smiling, vacant zombies.
Apart from people not marrying and being given in marriage like the angels. I cannot see why there would not be sex in heaven. Especially given that in Genesis 6 some angels had sex with human women.
One could imagine heaven having one never ending orgy between God, Jesus, The Holy Spirit, The Angels and the "elect".
I thought about something similar myself.
Here is my reasoning: God created sex. Sex is good. God approves of sex between a man and a woman. God tells Adam & Eve to be fruitful and multiply. Therefore, there could be a possibility of sex in Heaven.
Then I also thought. God says we will be like the angels, not married and not given in marriage. Never has it been mentioned that an angel has an offspring. If angels create children they do it without God's permission, without his approval, these are the very angels that followed Lucifer. If we Christians will become like the angels, then we will become like the messengers that never tresspassed on God's laws because they love him and trust him. It is unlikely that there will be sex in the new heaven and new earth, but we cannot be sure because the Bible says that no eye has seen and no mind has conceived all the gifts for those who love God.
That's how I thought about it. So my conclusion is I will just wait and see. I find sex enjoyable, but I would rather spend my time worshipping God.

Right you are, put your money where your mouth (or other orifice) is. Next time your husband wants sex, tell him you'd rather praise God. And tell him that's going to be the case for the rest of your lives, because you'd rather worship God than have sex.
And let us know how the imminent divorce works out.

1. family - your parents are usually the first to tell you not to do drugs, even if they're actively doing them or they tried them, they tend to want something better for you, something more healthy, like a body that isn't weighed down by bad choices in drugs, friends and influences.
2. your body - by its reactions to what you're doing, the breath stinks and the teeth start to breakdown if you're forcing yourself to vomit in mid digestion. If you don't properly clean a wound and it gets infected usually puss or something abnormal will appear and pain will be attached, that's not helathy.
3. society - there are lots of things society looks down on and one of them is overreating. I watched the show Heavy and let me tell you, that kind of lifestyle is unhealthy.
4. science - science helps us understand our bodies and therefore also helps us take advantage of hand sanitizer and other things that will lower the chances for us to catch sicknesses.
So, anything that you chose that your family doesnt agree with is not healthy. Garlic, vegetables, and onions are not healthy because they give you bad breath. Anything that society doesnt agree with is not healthy.
The only thing I agree with is your science answer.

May I remind you in soviet russia religions such as Christianity was also looked down on by society.
Since when does society decide what is healthy and what isnt? thats like society deciding wether Gravity is effective or not.
All of the answers are plausible. They're not based on whether you agree. Understand that people decide if they're going to accept society, science, family, and personal reasons for things being unhealthy. My friend's aunt was told time and again that her eating habits were unhelathy, she decided that she wouldn't believe them, she was diagnosed with type II diabetes, again the doctor her family, science and society agrees that type II diabetes is an easy passport to the grave if you don't take care of yourself. Her feet were amputated and later she died, because no matter who told her that the lifestyle she was leading was unhealhty she chose for herself what she was going to do. People usually don't like to show the side that her aunt did, they don't like for people to see them in low health and some people don't care.
My point in bringing up healthy and unhealthy, is that people don't usually want sickness or an unhealthy lifestyle to define them, they want their contributions, their legacy, their good to define them.

I am so sorry that your sex life is that bad. What a shame, because there is no sex in heaven. Non-corporal bodies and all.
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

And you've quite arbitrarily defined all things not in line with your dogma as "not good". It's bullshit, and you know better.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I believe I stated that I find sex enjoyable. I see that you like to take some things to the extreme, you've decided that I never want to have sex again because I stated that I would rather worship God and that I should "fess up" to my husband. I can assure you that my husband would rather worship the Lord than have sex too, because worshipping God is serving others, helping them, loving on people, edifying them. The joy that comes from watching people flourish into confident compassionate people is more enjoyable than sex.
Perhaps you think otherwise, that simply demonstrates how often you edify others because love is more satisfying than sex and always will be.

If both of you would rather worship god than have sex with each other......you both married the wrong person.

I'm coming to a conclusion based on the information that has been given to me through the Bible. I believe the Bible is true, therefore my reasoning is firm, rev, I don't complain that you've lost your ability to reason just because you disagree.
You're a pretty fun guy, but you're starting to make me sound inferior and I don't like that, it hurts.

But, who says the bible is the whole "truth"? Maybe there are missing parts... Like the gospel that says you should walk around resting your balls on a midgets head. You know it is real
That is definitely relevant in this conversation.
