Former staff Tara Reade alleges that in 1993, while delivering a gym bag to Biden in an empty hall of the Senate office building, the then-Senator pushed her against a wall, kissed her, cupped her breasts, and penetrated her with his fingers, all without her consent

Tara Reade was one of seven women who first came forward in early 2019 claiming that Joe Biden had kissed, hugged or touched them inappropriately

An investigation needs to be done .Anything else at this point is futile .

I'm just going to say "possibly true." Frankly, I'm still going to vote for him in November because at this point, even though he may be a doddering old fart with some disappointingly ancient views and a depressing track record (which is why I voted for Bernie last month when we could still go out of our homes and we still had a choice), he's the only chance we have at not getting four more years of Trump. And, just so we're absolutely clear, yes, this is a case where both sides are at fault, since Donald Trump has at least two dozen accusations against him and has on at least one occasion bragged about sexually assaulting girls on tape. Between the two of them, the odds of America voting someone with a credible record as a sexual predator this November are 100%. Why, yes, that does suck.

Anyone entering into politics these days would be well advised to have anything resembling genitalia to be surgically removed.....

Agreed, and it should start soonest. Though as the Valkyrie has pointed out, it didn't hurt the chump. That's not a reason to not do it, though. It kind of grinds my gears that an allegation of an act in '93 only surfaced when Biden is running for president. Or did I miss something? It makes me think that there are shills waiting in the wings to bring people down, in every political endeavor.

As much as I hate to agree, I must agree.

Such a sad state of affairs we are in. As much as I would have to choke on the bile in my throat to do so, I would vote for Bill Cosby over Trump.

I don't know if Biden is guilty of the vile things he is accused of but if he is, he is still an angel compared to Trump. Trump has already admitted to such crimes - even bragged about them!

At least when Bill Cosby talked about politics, you could actually have a legitimate debate and you could probably defend either side of it (whether "stop being stereotypical" is good advice or if such advice is useless without a massive societal overhaul) in good faith, even if his side is, naturally, far less fashionable in 2020 than in 2004.

I think we DO need a massive societal overhaul. But obviously, we aren't going to get that by staying home and not voting for Joe Biden.

Again, I don't pretend to to know about any skeletons in Biden's closet. I'm disgusted if the alleged skeletons exist. But I remain a champion of pragmatism.

Under the two-party system, vote your conscience in the primary. Vote with your pragmatic brain in the the general election.
