Health advocates do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission
RE: Health advocates do not condemn these gatherings as risky for COVID-19 transmission
Or the child playing it.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

It doesn't mean he wants us to forever be ignorant. Just keep us ignorant until we are ready for him.

Sometimes i wonder if we are entities in a computer program like sim city... The characters in sim city don't have a clue about the world beyond theirs...
Then I suppose God would be the computer engineer who created the software... I dunno

The analogy would be complete once you realize that God is within the program and the program is part of God too.

To me there is no meaningful distinction between the totality of existence containing infinite minds and those minds just being the thoughts of a much larger mind that we call God.

They can't. Just means God doesn't want some people to believe or at least not until they're ready. If atheists exist it's because God wants it. Only what God wants can happen.

A Trinity of Gods. In the name of the hardware and of the software and of the holy gamer... LoL

I started thinking about that concept after i heard a polytheist suggest that our universe is just one kids school assignment.
Im picturing a jar full of stars in motion but it could also be a cpu program i guess

Humans can recreate our universe with an earth and tons of ai beings on a computer. Those beings wouldn't know their in a program.
Im just thinking out loud anyway... Who knows

Doesn't a deist believe that God is outside the program? Or is it just that God doesn't intervene?
And what do u suppose the reason is for the universe when only earth appears to have life?

Maybe they just play the game, they don't know how to make one any more than we do.

Polytheism has one up on monotheism in many ways, but it's ability to describe the vast divergence that any observation of this world would inevitably lead to, in the context of many gods with many aims and disparate abilities, is at the top of the list. Why did bad things happen to those good people? Where was their god? Well, he was there, but the other asshole god just teched up to a counter. /GG.

A bit off topic but did u hear about the two ai robots that started communicating in their own language?

I hadn't, but it's not surprising. The basic ability to communicate in any language carries the inherent potential to communicate in some other.

These 2 CPU bots that facebook had operating started talking in code so they shut down the system. English words but all scrambled
What were the bots keeping secret from humans? They don't know so its anyone's guess

AI BOTS STARTED SPEAKING IN A LANGUAGE

They don't appear to have been keeping anything secret from humans. They created a shorthand when they were tasked with communicating and bartering, and improving their communications and bartering. The experiment scrapped because bots that speak bot gibberish can't perform the task that they were intended to do. Talk to people, barter with people.

I wouldn't worry about artificial intent. The more prescient doom and gloom future ai scenario is that it does exactly what it's supposed to, exactly what it was designed to do. Put us out of work. Whether that job is haggling at a farmers market or managing a complicated missile defense, we'll have to deal with the increasing competition that we face from automation.
