It is an unfortunate reality that evolution doesn't give a shit because it is a biological process, not human construct. It is only observed by scientists who use language to describe their observations.

Muslims, nor Jews nor Christians, nor Buddhists or Atheists deserve to be oppressed. 

The virus itself does not give a shit who it makes sick or kills. It doesn't care about our religion or politics or history. It is a virus. 

HUMANS, no matter our label are the only ones who have the power to mitigate and limit the damage it does to our species, and that has to be a collective effort outside our species differences. 

My late mother was a lifetime Catholic. But do I wish COVID -19 on her because she held beliefs I thought were bullshit? NO. I also would not wish the virus on you either. But that does not mean, in either case, that I have any obligation to not respond to bad claims. 

If our species fails, it will solely be because WE collectively put our differences and tribalism above our common needs. 

If you don't want to die from the virus, and I damned sure know I don't either, then maybe humans worldwide need to fucking skip the religious and political tribalism and work together.

The way things are going, we’re all going to contract it, most of us probably already had it and didn’t know it because not everyone displays symptoms, but most importantly there’s likely no vaccine in sight.

When theists, be they any label, Christian, or Muslim or Jew or Hindu or Buddhist, recoil when you say you don't buy any religion you are worse to many, not all, but far to many than the rivals they point out otherwise.

But if no Christian or Muslim or Jew or Hindu or Buddhist wants to die from this virus, just like I don't as an atheist, I want to smack these morons on their face.

I love humans in that we have a great capacity for empathy, but at the same time far too much a leaning to tribalism. And far too many, minus sane scientists, see even a virus as a conspiracy, and the truth is, the virus doesn't give a shit, because it is incapable of thought like a human. It will kill anyone of any label, anywhere in the world, regardless of religion, class, status, political party.

There are 5 vaccines right now in the final stages of testing. The vaccines are being mass produced just in case they are found to be effective. Moderna is a front runner with a vaccine that has been shown to be effective and is now in phase three testing.

Yeah, Trump Steaks, Trump Vodka, and Trump University worked out so well, I can’t see myself putting much trust in Trump Inoculations (you just KNOW he’s going to want his name on it).
