I understand why it's asinine to believe that antifa is responsible...I just don't think the logic from that post tracks very well.

The "leftists" can sit on their hands and laugh joyously. BUT, if they get in there with the morons they're in danger of giving the hard(headed) Right a "just as bad" excuse. They didn't need to be waving a false flag, the stupid flag flew high.

From the Atlantic: A Christian Insurrection. Many of those who mobbed the Capitol on Wednesday claimed to be enacting God’s will. https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...ol/617591/ ..."The mob carried signs and flag declaring Jesus saves! and God, Guns & Guts Made America, Let’s Keep All Three. Some were participants in the Jericho March, a gathering of Christians to “pray, march, fast, and rally for election integrity.” After calling on God to “save the republic” during rallies at state capitols and in D.C. over the past two months, the marchers returned to Washington with flourish. On the National Mall, one man waved the flag of Israel above a sign begging passersby to Say Yes to Jesus. “Shout if you love Jesus!” someone yelled, and the crowd cheered. “Shout if you love Trump!” The crowd cheered louder."...
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

That group is predominantly Evangelical Christians for sure. I can't figure out how they can explain such behavior within their doctrine. It just doesn't add up.
Why is it so?

I'm not sure how it's not consistent with their doctrine..their doctrine demands it...screams it loudly from the pulpit and thousands of am stations all over the nation every single minute of every day.
From the floor of government while they siege the government.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
That depends what book you read and which one's you put priority on. Jesus taught peace and love though he also taught people to disconnect from their family. From my upbringing as a Baptist, the focus was always on the "nice" version. It's been about 20 years since I attended a real service so perhaps in that span they've shifted their focus from "give to Caeser what is Caeser's" to some vengeful Old Testament proverb about destroying things and hurting people.
Why is it so?

They believe in a merciful god that killed almost everything on the planet, so you really can expect them to believe explanations are needed. |
