One of my favorite moves is wearing a lanyard with your work ID dangling from it while posing for pictures while breaking the law.

I just read about a back woman who was assaulted in L.A. on Friday while walking by herself. She was passing by a group of Trumpists protesters when they called her racist slangs and assaulted her when she wouldn't remove her face mask. There will likely be more of this across the country until law enforcement gets serious about rounding up these douchebags.

Shit's gonna hit the fan. The Trump Thugs are geared up for the 17th and the 18th is Martin Luther King Day...two days later the inauguration. This is far from over.

Yea, dispensable low level minions.

Unfortunately I agree.

I have to admit, I really thought that when McConnell recognized Biden, the dominos would fall. I was dead wrong.

I don't think an assault on the Capital will work again. They might try, but that close to the election, considering how close Trump's minions came to actually reaching Pence and Pelosi, Capital Hill is going to be locked down tighter than a gnat's sphincter.

I think now that these assholes failed, they are going to be looking for softer targets, like more local government buildings.

If I were the FBI, I also would not stop at state or local buildings, I'd also protect black Churches.

Our right wing nuts are desperate, and I wouldn't put Isis tactics beyond them.

And with their typical cleverness and talent for for getting things done on the sly, they’ve announced their plans. The 17th, 18th and Inauguration Day aren’t going to play out like Storm The Capitol Day.

A lot of these people are getting busted because people are calling LE and letting them know they recognize the person.  The original facial recognition - Hey, I know him.

Don't tell Min people speak with LEOs.

And people have to come forward to squeal. I got profiled back in the '70s when I changed air lines between Indianapolis and Rome. Young male traveling alone with very recent ticket purchase.

And I've never wanted to go to Havana, seriously.

Airport security invited me into a stair well and frisked me. When they were satisfied I wasn't a hijacker I introduced them to my parents. Hehe

I suppose the silver lining here is that we've finally flushed out this rotten contingent. Now we need serious law enforcement to round them up and shove their asses into prison where thy belong.

You know, there's a scene from The Boondocks where they're at the R. Kelly trial, and they're watching the infamous sex tape, and not only does he show his face clearly (well, in the fictional version, I wouldn't know about the real one), he also takes a phone call where he not only says his first and last name, confirms that this Robert Kelly is the famous singer, but even gives his social security number on camera.

And, fortunately, I managed to find a clip of the scene, and I'm legitimately shocked that I found a clip of it that didn't actually drop the N-bomb (that's shockingly rare for The Boondocks), so I can feel free to post it here (relevant scene from 0:40-1:16)

All the talk about impeachment and/or the 25th Amendment seems unnecessary. Here's what your 14th amendment has to say about it:

Quote:No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

It would appear from this that Trump, along with every single senator and representative who either called for or supported the riot is already out of office. There's nothing in the amendment about a vote being required to remove them (although there might be some case law and congressional procedures of which I'm unaware), just a 2/3 vote to let them back in.
