How the incredulous whine. Then compound that error when they proxy god in as a placeholder concept, because they can't be bothered to understand the natural explanations that explain exactly the mysteries they find oh so mysterious.

Well captian you are already sealed, it would be of no real value to argue with you about anything above your ability to comprehend. Nothing from nothing leaves nothing. I could argue with a brick all day long, and nothing would ever get accomplished. End of story. Thinking

I am amazed how people can over look the fact that the human body is such a magnificent work of art that to think it could be constructed without a master designer speaks for itself. With all of our scientific knowledge today we can construct skyscrapers, satellites, space probes, cell phones, beautiful homes, vehicles, etc, but we can not create on living cell from scratch. To believe that a human could evolve from inorganic matter with out a master designer takes more faith than I have for sure. Every convince we enjoy today had a designer behind it for sure. If not it would not exist as a viable instrument if it did not. None of these non living instruments created themselves. I exist, and I will give the glory of it to my Creator. I have nothing to loose by doing so, and everything to gain. Over 95% of the people who claim to be Christians really are not. In most cases it is just a title through which most hope to get a get out of jail free card in the end. Our scientist have sent space probes to the moon, Mars, Venus, Jupiter and its many moons in hopes of finding one microbe of life. So far they have found nothing. They can't find it, they can not create it. Life is only granted by the command of God for it to appear. We are more than willing to destroy our enemies. Our great military will attest to that. Don't you thing God will do the same to his enemies? Unfortunately he will. "Jacob have I loved, Esau have I hated." Which one would you like to be in the end? Banghead

I'm thinking spoof. Lemme tell ya why-

Argument from incredulity, argument from design, non sequitur, pascals wager, no true scot, argument from ignorance, bare assertion.....and then some sort of threat about gods great (and mysteriously absent) power to destroy us...I don't know, an appeal to mortality and or tyrant sky gods?

I think you'd pretty much have to be trying to even come close to pulling that off.

I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

But God can create something from nothing, right?

Maybe matter and energy have alway existed in some form?

You're right, you are so much cleverer than wot I am, which is probably why god has selected you, because at least you can converse on the same level. I'll just crawl under my stone humiliated by your brilliance.

Argue one is saying, "are you attempting to argue from design," and the other is saying, "yep, even you have to believe in that, it's there." : worship-large:

Yep tbh you would have thought if god did exist he'd kinda want atheists up there with him wouldn't you. Fancy an eternity with GC, SW and this character. No wonder he was pissed in the O T if he had a load of bronze aged folks ending up in heaven like that. Almost feel sorry for that great big invisible, disembodied mind in errr the sky/heaven/err imaginary place.

Funny dude. Stop ganging up, stand on what you believe alone. When traveling to most atheist sites I get the same results. Even the atheistic scientist community have come to the conclusion that God was right in Genesis one where it is stated: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The universe had a beginning. Do atheist argue that fact? Their leaders no longer do. The question than stands, where did it come from? That right there is ground zero. One of two possible answers.

1) It created itself out of nothingness, or
2) just like God said in the Bible, he did it by the power of his Word.

Sorry people , but I can not explain it any other way. God did it, or it did itself. I am betting my soul on God. I do not believe in aliens, but I do believe in seducing demonic spirits. I know who they are and where they come from. And they are not fallen angels. But that is another story for another time. Trool on brother. Wink Shades
