It's not all speculation. You speculated that sandra bland martyred herself for blm. It is a fact, otoh, that justice failed sandra bland up to and including at the moment of her death.
It cost the officer involved and the sheriff of the dept their careers (and the officer actually agreed not to pursue -any- career in law enforcement for a deal). It cost the jail. It cost the taxpayers millions.
It cost sandra her life. She didn't martyr herself, and blm didn't make her a martyr either. That would be the cops. They did that, from start to finish.

It does not matter if someone intends to kill themselves. I am not against self suicide for certain specific reasons. But I am damned sure against someone being cornered to the point they feel they have no choice when they do.

The state of texas does not acknowledge any so-called right to die, preventing the deaths of their inmates is their responsibility.
Brings us right back round to chauvin. People feel that alot of hay will be made about whatever amount of personal responsibility the defense can lay on the victim for his own death, and what sorts of -gasp- drugs he was taking. Doesn't matter. The charges he's facing don't demand that a person have no other health problems or that they be completely uninvolved in their own demise, floyd wont have been the first person with a health problem ever murdered.

The point of that one is very much to kill the other guy, not yourself. They just didn't have good ejection seats.

https://www.tmz.com/2021/02/08/george-floyd-murder-trial-defense-no-comparisons-jesus-christ-crucified-crucifixion/
In the docs, obtained by TMZ, Chauvin's defense asks the judge for an order precluding any expert from likening Floyd's death to the crucifixion of Christ. The defense claims such analogies would be prejudicial.

One of the crimes for which Floyd was imprisoned in the past was a home invasion where he held a pistol to the pregnant homeowners bump and demanded she tell him where the money was or he'd fire. Not VERY Jesus like...

The homeowner wasn't pregnant nor did he threaten to fire the gun. Oh, and Jesus was a convicted criminal too. Sorry imperfect victim narratives don't fly here .

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
