So what else can I tell you about me? I’m close to 50, married with two kids and have a job. Been working in IT for 25 years.
With COVID many of us IT people work from home which gives us time to spend on forums when we’re not in crisis mode or in a project.
I am human like you. I like you. I find you strange almost like a different species but I like you and enjoy the discussions with atheists.

Computers? Oh please say yes. What do you know about routers?
I love new tech and shiny things. Consequently I have three computers, two Android TV's, an Android Tablet and phone. In the course of a day I may use up to four OS (Windows, Mac, Linux and Android)
Because I'm only self taught, I have some irritating grey areas. Right now it's setting up samba for my internal network, So far I have work around using UpnP. But, I'm the teensiest bit OCD, so will gnaw at this problem until I fix it. I might even need to pay someone to set it up from scratch. Yeccchhh!
Don't worry, I'm only half serious. I mention the above by way of an ice breaker. You are not expected to sing for your supper so to speak. Here it's about what's going on between one's ears. Your opinions on just about anything. Honesty and civility are our shiboleths.

Oh God, don’t make it like work here again. I’m coming here to relax not work lol
But setup a PfSense router which is any old computer with the PfSense OS in it. Than install some Addons in the OS such as advertisement blocking and aaaahhh your whole network is free from ads.
Maybe we can discuss this in detail in another thread. 
I’m browsing forums for now and tomorrow maybe I’ll put my first topic.

As I said, I was only half serious. I've already been told that fixing something like this is too complex online in terms of possibilities and takes forever.
It is neither my desire nor my intention to take advantage of your good nature. I usually solve issues like this by trial and error and looking for written instructions on line.
This place will hopefully be somewhere you can relax and have some fun. Just look at the threads; there's lots of humour, you can stick to the lighter stuff if you want. Some of the stuff they discuss here is too erudite for me, so I leave that lone..
