I have to say that if this had happened even a few years ago, the outcome could have been very different. Good to see that you're leaving the hospital so soon!
If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.

Trust me, I know how close of a call this was. I got lucky, and I got the best care possible.

Wow, that's quick. Good for you!

What's the outpatient plan?
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I'm on Eliquis for life, follow up with my primary care and hemotology next week, pulmonology and cardiology in the spring. I'm supposed to take it easy for a month and then can resume my.normal activities.

Currently at my Mom's resting.

Very cool. The new anticoagulants certainly make post PE a lot easier.

Do you have your socks on? And how's the femoral incision healing? My dad's was ugly, I can't remember how long it took to stop weeping.

That's fanatic news,  sounds like you dodged a bullet. I'm very pleased for you.

Yeah, Coumadin therapy sucks. I was never able to keep my INR in the therapeutic range after my first PE ten years ago. I was off work for two months.

They did all the work via the jugular, the entry is about completely closed, not draining at all. I should be back at work Monday in a limited capacity.
