Ukraine will win (The white elephant in the room the evolution of weapon disablement technology ahead of even NATO in Ukraine knocking out bucket loads Russian weaponry) and the blow back could well transform Russia regardless of perceived nostalgia. Russia is due for change how that change might play out and when significant regime change occurs is more of an unknown. One thing is for sure Russia is more divided than unified just like Ukraine is so change will happen. Putin's double and that military regime around it won't be able to stop Putin's agenda backfiring on them.

as is the effort to expand NATO to russian border.   the only difference is America elected to push for this knowing the odds are most of the consequences will be borne by Ukraine if the predicted consequences eventuates.

no, it is to highlight the other point of view is hypocritical, not that it’s valid.

America pushed for expansion of NATO knowing since 1990s what is happening today is likely consequences of its effort when it had the agency to not do so and the cobsequence of not doing so is rather little.  but you hold america blameless for electing to do the thing knowing the probable consequences to others.

Russia feels her own status of a great power is at stake because of the expansion of NATO, but you insist she should do nothing because it has the agency to just keel over.

I sympathise with both Russians and Ukrainians in their plight to end the male vodka gendercide and regime causing it. How are people supposed to believe that the regime is acting in their interests when so many men have lost their lives who may well have been russian but not the regimes chosen men. All this very costly to all sides war will result in is more eastern european slaves under the radar. Totally horrid It's high time the regime was dealt with and I don't mean by killing yet loads more men. Russia needs help. The regime stood in the way of true democracy throughout the 90's till now and somehow have to audacity to claim such a move as not in Russia's interest and I suppose killing yet more men who disagreed was in such interests of Russia. If Russia does not learn to truly appreciate her citizens and a more dynamic russian economy then Russia will be ill equipped for the next stage in sustainable energy, grid storage and ev's which could really start to eat at the fossil fuels market with good enough cheap enough batteries.
