As the son of a career nurse, I can testify that this is accurate:

Nothing wrong with cooked boogers. They just need to be cooked to a safe temperature to guard against booger-borne illness.

Because much like who we lovingly call "the support staff" at pretty much any institution, they're the ones that actually run the show.

I *always* made it a primary goal to get to know the "support staff" before bothering with the mucky-mucks anywhere I've worked.  It pays dividends.

When I was a high school physics and chemistry teacher, my best friends were the custodial and office staff.  My students never wanted for *anything*, and I relished telling them why.  It was a life-lesson teachable moment.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

I think this might be the most valuable guitar in the world. Why? Because it was made out of the most valuable thing in the world.
