How many military veterans do you know, that you can make such a crass generalization? You seem to assume that we're stupid and cannot see how we were and are used.

Let's see your qualifications to talk about military attitudes at all. Alternatively, keep running your mouth and further demonstrate your ignorance.

7 of the dumbest arguments I have heard so far on this thread

1. The incredibly remote possibility of nuclear war is the reason Ukraine should become Russia's bitch

2. Putin being a liar means he's smart and we should totally trust him

3. Allies should totally let allies sign deals that will screw them over

4. Despite his previously  invading and planning to invade other countries he will totally stop at Ukraine

5. Saving Ukraine costs too much

6. NATO expansion is equal to the Soviets putting missiles in Cuba

7. Smaller countries should have to accommodate bigger ones

Syria certainly has to accommodate the fact that the US is occupying about a third of its land, and taking its oil and wheat with no legal justification. While US ally Israel bombs Damascus with impunity.

1. America has a justification to be Syria and America has not "taken " anything. Unlike Russia whose, troops have engaged in mass looting.

2. Israel is fighting Iran-backed Hezbollah fighters who are also allied with Russia and so far their strikes have been surgical in nature. Also if you are concerned with Syria then you must have really hated the indiscriminate carpet bombing Russia did during the war.

1/3 of Syria (24,000 square miles) "occupied" ... by 900 soldiers.

The US Army used to have a recruiting slogan: "An Army of One".

So that's 900 armies, I'll have you know!
