Russia and Ukraine
RE: Russia and Ukraine
US personnel participate in attacks.

Quote:KYIV, Ukraine — Ukrainian officials said they require coordinates provided or confirmed by the United States and its allies for the vast majority of strikes using its advanced U.S.-provided rocket systems, a previously undisclosed practice that reveals a deeper and more operationally active role for the Pentagon in the war.

RE: Russia and Ukraine
Helping Ukraine coordinate strikes is not "US personnel participate in attacks" any more than giving them access to US intel or allowing them to use US communication systems. It's still them firing the weapons and them killing the Russians. Just more bullshit from you trying to pin this war on America.

We've been doing that since the war began, as anyone who follows this knows. Good.

Meanwhile, the Russians are stuck using Garmins in their fighter jets.

Yeah, if this is true, didnt the US switch from invading countries to the business to defending them from invasion? And without risking the life of a single american.

If Bel is american, he should approve of that. I would. Razz

There's no if, it's true, and it wasn't a secret. Kinda funny right? Take something known like the us providing targeting data, act like it's a revelation, and frame it ambiguously as "us personnel participate in attacks". I guess it would be boring (and less profitable) if you just ran the same headline for a year "russia pantses itself in ukraine today".

Kymeta will replace Starlink in Ukraine. Pentagon is setting up a deal and other NATO countries will join.

Kymeta calls Elon Musk's Ukraine actions ‘egregious’ and 'there’s blood on his hands for that'. They will support SAT services for defensive purposes.

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Quote:Senior Pentagon officials:

"“We have long acknowledged that we share intelligence with Ukraine to assist them in defending their country against Russian aggression, and we have optimized over time how we share information to be able to support their requests and their targeting processes at improved speed and scale,” Brig. Gen. Patrick Ryder, a Pentagon spokesman, said in the statement. “The Ukrainians are responsible for finding targets, prioritizing them and then ultimately deciding which ones to engage. The U.S. does not approve targets, nor are we involved in the selection or engagement of targets.”

That’s good news. Sometimes I am not really sure if this Elon Musk is a new Bill Gates or if he is more like the Mark Zuckerberg Type Smile

- Seriously, it is simply better that the white house or the Pentagon decides of these things in the sky rather than some private individual.

On the logistical nightmare that could be created by the Abrams and Challenger tanks:

The sending of the Abrams Tanks is seen as a symbolic gesture to allow Germans to send + allow Leopard II’s to be sent to Ukraine. Challengers are described as tanks that the UK wants to make obsolete within a few years anyway and French made Tank (AMX 10-RC) are smaller scale tanks anyway. So Moscow is right on the fact that it will be facing German Tanks just like during WWII.

It's definitely true. Even before the Russians invaded, we were sharing satellite photos of their troop
concentrations. Once the invasion broke, that shifted to target acquisition, no doubt because our PGMs were designed with the data-processing of our satellites and battlefield C³I systems in mind.
