RE: Damned Catholics
Hungarian archbishop blasts Freemasonry, LGBT ideology, rising Islam in Europe

The archbishop additionally lamented the erasure of Christmas in the public square, noting the growing trend of replacing the word “Christmas” with “holidays.”

He recalled how the city of Brussels, the capital of the E.U., declined to put up a Christmas tree in 2012 for fear of offending its Muslim population.

More recently, the European Commission faced blistering criticism in 2021 over internal communications guidelines that suggested eliminating the term “Christmas period.” The Commission eventually withdrew the guidelines.

Archbishop Márfi identified Freemasonry, a longtime enemy of the Catholic Church, as a principal group working to secularize Europe.

“The aim of the Freemasons is to ‘rid’ Europe of Christianity,” he said. “To achieve this, they are willing to use all means, taking advantage of their lobbying force to infiltrate the leaders of the Union.”

“In my opinion, Muslims are also being called in to get Christ and Christianity out of Europe,” he told Magyar Jelen.

“Today, Freemasons and Muslims are coming together to make Christianity disappear from Europe,” he observed. “It was practically the same as it was in the age of the Savior, when the Scribes and Pharisees worked with their deadly enemy, Pontius Pilate, to get Jesus out of the way.”

“In a multicultural, mixed society,” he continued, “the individual loses his identity, sense of identity, culture, faith, language, practically everything,” making people easier to manipulate for powerful corporations “who want to turn the whole Earth into a huge collective farm, where there are no ethnic, national and religious identities, only obedient workers and consumers manufactured according to standards.”

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Strange how the Catholic Church attacked Chelsea Handler for choosing not to have kids claiming that a woman can not be happy without being a mother, and yet at the same time they claim how priests and nuns are unprecedentedly happy for not having kids.

Quote:A Catholic mom responds to comedian Chelsea Handler

Ms. Handler and other childless women will eventually face the sadness of mortality without the companionship of children and grandchildren.

The pro-life activist Abby Johnson emphasized the first point, tweeting: “I wouldn’t trade my husband and beautiful kids for a life of meaningless hookups with strangers, alcohol, and loneliness. Good luck finding a mom who would.” This common response to Ms. Handler’s child-free preening has been around since the anti-family subtext of some extreme iterations of second-wave feminism stoked backlash. The desire for a family—no less than the question of whether men and women can be friends—forms the basis for the storyline in the classic 1989 romantic comedy “When Harry Met Sally.” Sally is sure that she wants to forego motherhood in favor of jetting off to Europe whenever she fancies. But one day, she is out with her niece when the little girl points to a man and a woman with a child, saying, “I spy a family.” And Sally realizes that this is what she needs to be happy after all.

Meanwhile, The Blaze’s Sarah Gonzales articulated the second point, stating, “This self-serving, hedonistic, narcissistic woman will wonder when she’s 70 why she didn’t make better choices when nobody wants her and she eventually dies alone.”

Funny, but I seem to recall Ms. Handler saying she’s not equipped to be a mum, which strikes me as a very good reason to not have children.

What I don’t recall is her saying the other people having kids is a bad idea. Maybe the stick-up-the-bum types like Johnson and Gonzales could take a tip from Ms. Handler and mind their own bloody business.

RE: Damned Catholics
Yeah, they are overreacting. Church seems to think that women are very stupid so they will follow anything they hear. Like if some woman says she doesn't want to have kids, that all the women, who don't attend Sunday mass, will refuse to have kids because women can not think for themselves, and thus decide for themselves.

And the Church brings it to a new level by proclaiming that there is some movement called "second-wave feminism" manipulating women. But it is actually 3rd wave of the Church's despair of trying to invent some usefulness for themselves in this society, so they invent problems that only they can supposedly solve.

Catholic group spends millions hunting priests who use gay hook-up apps

The conservative, not-for-profit group in Colorado, Catholic Laity and Clergy for Renewal (CLCR), have spent at least $4 million, to find priests who used gay dating apps, and shared the data with bishops across America.

The data spans from 2018 until 2021, and was taken from numerous apps, including Grindr, Scruff, Growlr, Jack’d and OkCupid.

Participants in the project were also said to be involved in the outing of Monsignor Jeffrey Burrill, a prominent Catholic pastor, in 2021.

Burrill stepped down from his role as secretary general of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops in July 2021 after Catholic news site Pillar said it had mobile-phone data showing he had used gay hook-up apps and visited gay bars and bathhouses.

Cardinals Müller, Burke rebuke German bishops over same-sex union blessings

A synod of German bishops overwhelmingly approved Church blessings of same-sex unions and unions between divorced and remarried Catholics, but the move has faced harsh criticism from some members of the Catholic hierarchy who have accused the German bishops of abandoning the faith.

German Cardinal Gerhard Müller and American Cardinal Raymond Burke rebuked the German bishops and called on them to be sanctioned in an interview on EWTN’s “The World Over with Raymond Arroyo,” which aired on Thursday night, March 16.

“There must be a trial and they must be sentenced and they must be removed from their office if they are not converting themselves and they are not accepting the Catholic doctrine,” Müller said during the interview.

“That is very sad that a majority of bishops voted explicitly against the revealed doctrine, and the revealed faith of the Catholic Church and of all our Christian thinking, against the Bible, the word of God in the Holy Scripture and in the apostolic tradition and in the defined doctrine of the Catholic Church,” the cardinal added.

Müller said the laypeople and the bishops who supported these resolutions at the German Synodal Way are “influenced by this LGBT and woke ideology, which is materialistic and nihilistic.”

“It is absolutely blasphemic to make a blessing about those forms of life which is, according to the biblical and the ecclesial doctrine a sin because all forms of sexuality outside of a valid matrimony is sin and cannot be blessed,” he said.
