I think you may not understand what a merc is. Firstly, the idea that this is a proxy war does not argue against the idiocy of the quoted post - it reinforces it as a conclusion. In an alternate reality where russia could get it's shit together, it would be ukraine getting drained, not the us. Kind of the point of proxies. Secondly, the ukrainian forces are uniformed combatants commanded by the legitimate government of ukraine, and therefore not mercenaries.

I distrust America's "foreign men" because I saw its criteria in choosing/enlisting foreign allies.

Take the Arab countries for example, Zelensky might be an Arab leader deep inside, remember that Arab leaders also go to war in joint alliances led by the U.S .
And when an actor "slaps the U.S and get out of alliance", America executes him literally (just like Saddam). They do it in front of cameras too just like barbarians.
