You said that one of the reasons you don't believe the Gary Kleck's study is telling the truth (at least approximately) is because it is supposedly not corraborated by other studies. Well, maybe it is indeed corraborated by other studies, and we will get to know that by somebody answering my StackExchange question.
I meant that I’m not interested in the fact that you asked a question on StackExchange.
I never said Kleck’s conclusions were wrong because they aren’t corroborated by other studies. I said they are wrong on their own merits.

He won’t. He will never, ever, EVER trust any opinion, study, conclusion, or bare fact that doesn’t jibe with his preferred narrative.

So, do you think the Latin Language StackExchange, that I am one of the most active members of, is worse than useless? Because it is also based on trusting opinions of randos on Stack Exchange.

Yes. Latin is useless. People getting together to ask questions about Latin is worse than useless.

Seriously? It is useless to translate all those untranslated Medieval Latin texts to inform us about history?
OK, what do you think about the English Language & Usage StackExchange and English Language Learners StackExchange? They are also based on trusting opinions of randos on Stack Exchange.

I think that those insisting that StackExchange is bad are precisely those who suck at it. They are in the first stage of the Dunning Kruger effect, when the person denies a skill is useful.

Just how many Medieval texts do you imagine are left untranslated?
There is a huge gulf separating the utility of Latin from that of English. The latter is the lingua franca of the modern world. It it the common language of science, tourism, international business, and comprises almost 2/3 of the text content of the internet. Latin is a dead language, interesting only to a small number of hobbyists and academics. Anyone who needs to know Latin already does.
