Well, that explanation at least doesn't contradict the basic principle of social sciences, that is the Principle of Rationality.
Maybe so, but it absolutely contradicts the basic principle of Looking At A Prison And Concluding That It Is Not A Prison.

You don't just contradict the principle of rationality, you back over it repeatedly with a garbage truck.
It always...always always always... comes back to your conspiracist's mindset. You don't get things wrong because you're trying to follow some method or theory or principle you've recently learned. You know that, anyone who listens to you for a half second knows it, and you compound the nutball shit you believe with your abject fucking cowardice to speak that truth plainly.
"Prisons don't exist" is just a thing you say..and obviously don't believe or even mean, at the long end of a chain that begins with "the yugoslav wars never happened, war crimes were not commited, and anyone who says otherwise is a crisis actor paid for by shadowy global interests"
In short, you're filth.

Boru I don't understand. The Principle of Rationality is the assumption that the society as a whole behaves as if every individual was rational, because the irrationalities of individuals cancel each other out. It was first formulated by Karl Popper, and it is one of the basic principles of modern social science. Prisons appear to contradict that principle, as no rational person can believe that prison is a good thing. For prisons to exist, politicians would need to be systemically irrational, all in the same way (to think that the existence of prisons is a good thing), and suggesting a systemic rationality contradicts the Principle of Rationality.

Why is it irrational to believe that prisons are a good thing? If one can present rational reasons for them (such as segregating dangerous individuals from the rest of society), it's not an irrationality. Therefore, politicians would not need to be systemically irrational for prisons to exist.

The only mass shootings in schools that need be happening are balls in hoops on the court and emptying of the balls into the toilet.

Prisons are places from which mentally ill people return even more dangerous than when they entered them.
