Russia and Ukraine
RE: Russia and Ukraine
Quote:Inlfation in the US is caused by Biden's wasteful government spending. Also grain prices aren't an issue as the US is mostly self-sufficient agriculturally.
No it isn't

It's the result of supply and demand a thing Biden has no control over and if Trump was president he would have the same problem.

Yup a lot of the world holds crazy regressive beliefs. That doesn't make them not crazy and regressive.

Yes he would

Quote:Other American taxpayers may disagree with you. You are free to spend your money how you want. Why do you want others to fund spending they didn't consent to?
You apparently don't understand the concept of a country (spoiler alert it involves paying for things you don't want to pay for)

Quote:This is a wild claim. Many Americans would rather not pay for an unnecessary war without obvious economic benefit.
Then those people are short sighted and stupid. This is necessary and this isn't about economic benefit ... Dodgy

Incorrect.  Because grain is a commodity market, higher prices abroad drive higher domestic prices as well -- same as the oil markets. So our self-sufficiency doesn't enter into it. And so far as Biden's "wasteful spending" goes, you seem ignorant of the fact that every single spending bill passed by Congress must start first in the House of Representatives, which is -- in case you're unaware of this fact as well -- controlled by the Republicans. Do you have any more misconceptions that need to be cleared up? I'll be around for another hour or so.

In the meantime, you still haven't answered these questions. What are you hiding?

Apparently the concept of a global market is too much for him to handle

It doesn't matter.
What matters is what people are told through propaganda. Their governments paint those factors of the Western Culture as bad, because the majority of people fear what they don't know.
And the majority of people have no experience of LGBT culture, even if some of the individuals could be said to belong to the LGBT group but remain closeted due to the rest of their society being close-minded and being kept that way through propaganda. It's a cycle that's difficult to break, especially when the country's governing bodies are actively keeping the cycle going. And this is happening in many many places throughout the world.

Gee, Dmitry1983 is literally unknowing about this war between Ukraine and Russia. That user must be listening to lies and propaganda, and though they say you don't have to be an expert to say stuff about things, but I think this guy lacks proper knowledge to even be qualified to say things about economics, politics, those kind of things.

It is Russia's fault this war started, and basically, whether or not I am reading the posts here correctly, I don't think helping Ukraine is hurting us economically. The lies and nonsense the republicans and maybe other people may spew from their mouths are just trying to get us to not help a country that is a fellow democracy like the United States. I can imagine all the reasons those people have against the war are just very bad.

As has been pointed out

Quote:US aid to Ukraine pales when compared with the $751bn 2022 US budget for defence spending or the $1.2tn paid out in Social Security retirement benefits, however. It is also just 1.8% of the total US spending in the 2022 fiscal year.

How does that make him crazy? Most of the world believe that Europe is ungodly and pushes LGBT agenda.

Most of the world only believes that because Europe IS ungodly and DOES push the LGBT ‘agenda’.

These are both good things.

You can't turn people into homosexuals.  God knows it doesn't work the other way around either.
