The Republican nominee’s preoccupation with dictators, and his disdain for the American military, is deepening.

I'd prefer he have colonels like von Stauffenberg or von Schlabrendorff.

Or carpenters like Georg Elser.

The repubs of the modern world are no longer afraid to reveal their love for Hitler's ideals.

Fascism worldwide grow ever stronger and people still don't see a problem or even admire it.

RCP polling here:

Republican primary standings, aggregated polls: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls...-7548.html

Democrat standings, again aggregated: https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls...-8171.html

These are some of the same polls that predicted a red wave in the last go ‘round. Let’s hope history repeats itself.

Trump is clearly a lock for the R nomination, but won’t win in general.

That’s what they said the last time and then he won. I already voted. I wish it was over with already. Every day is a thick dread. It’s going to be a close one. Just maybe he really won’t win and maybe even he will just go away after not winning. That would be nice.

It's good to see you around again, first off.

I confess an anxiety about this election, the way the polls are drooping. He might win.

Even if he doesn't -- and even if his followers don't stage Insurrection 2.0 -- those people aren't going anywhere, and neither are the politicians trying to scoop up their votes. He may himself go away, but other and smarter fascisti will not. And they know they have seventy or so million voters they can manipulate.

So winning this election is possible, but with those Trumpeteers still around, the fight will still go on long afterward, because those Trump voters aren't going anywhere.

BREAKING: The Trump-Vance campaign is literally falling apart

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Which ones exactly?
Competent ones who stood up against him and whom he had to sack after they told him its over?
Incompetent lackeys who stayed until the end?
or the ones that betrayed him in mid 1944?
We need more specifics, Donnie!
