If you get to thinking you’re a person of some influence, try ordering somebody else’s dog around.
You don't have to be skinny to mow people down in synagogues, churches, schools, and concerts. Shooting unarmed libs is the fantasy.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

They're already there, and show no signs of leaving any time soon. Don't get me wrong, I think the meal team six guys are a joke too. To a man, they are either people who didn't/couldn't serve and wish they had, or people who can no longer serve/would never serve but desire the social status and validation of service... I don't worry about those guys. I worry about the guys (and kids) we don't see. You can't get ahead of them. Even they don't know what they're going to do yet.

Trump’s former FDA commissioner warns RFK Jr. could ‘cost lives’ if confirmed
“You’re going to see measles, mumps and rubella vaccination rates go down,” Gottlieb said on CNBC, referencing Kennedy’s longtime criticism of federal recommendations for childhood immunizations, and noting a recent decline in childhood vaccination rates. The nation is approaching a “tipping point,” Gottlieb said, where a continued decline in childhood vaccines could soon lead to measles outbreaks and deaths of children. “We’re going to start seeing epidemics of diseases that have long been vanquished, and, God forbid, we see polio reemerge in this country,” he said. He added that Kennedy, who founded one of the country’s most prominent antivaccine groups, had “smart people” around him who could take immediate steps to affect Americans’ access to vaccines, such as changing federal vaccine recommendations. “There’s a lot of things that they could do day one, very easily, administratively,” Gottlieb said. Jerome Adams, who was U.S. surgeon general under Trump, has also warned that Kennedy’s selection could fuel a decline in vaccine confidence and help spark outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases. https://www.washingtonpost.com/health/20...p-rfk-hhs/
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
^There's been some noise from analysts across political lines that Trump's cabinet picks and his 'economic' agenda are simply posturing, and won't come to pass.
I disagree. Trump has provided ample evidence that he is stupid enough and vindictive enough to be serious about this, and his sycophants in Congress are bamboozled enough to let him. Boru

^Yeah, it looks like Trump will be Hitler on the first day, but the Hitler of the last days when he turned against everyone including the Nazis and himself.
But that's all part of Trump's 4D chess game which ultimate goal is to show to the people how billionaires are privileged assholes who earned their wealth by stealing from the people by not paying taxes, taking government subsidies, and exploiting workers so that people finally come to their senses and tax the rich and use the money for themselves by having healthcare and paying less taxes.

I'd rather take threats seriously, rather than ignore them and repent at leisure. Not that there's much I can do about this threat to our democracy. |
