What's everyone up to right now?

 I've been knackered by depression lately. I couldn't sleep last night and spent all night ruminating about what a horrible employee / person I was when I was younger. Oddly, this song came to mind as a portent of things to come.

I convinced myself to put up some decorations.
I have been invited to my sister's house, I have nothing to give my nieces or nephews. I hope I don't drag down the festivities

We've decided to have a no muss no fuss christmas. No decorations, no cards, limited gifts, no wrapping. Eating out both 24th and 25th, probably at the casino.

We also simplified a bit. Other than gifts for the grandchildren, the other presents are for a White Elephant exchange.
Since Christmas Eve is on Tuesday, and that's my usual day to host, we are having Taco Tuesday...though my son is not real happy about it. It will be cheaper than the traditional meal and we all like tacos and the goodies that go with them. The kids here in town will have the real deal meal on Christmas day with their in-laws.
