Couple dollars more than that here, but I rarely eat eggs anyway.

Wonder how many kids are going to be hunting for plastic eggs this coming Easter.

I recently tried vegetarian egg substitute, very revolting.

You need to try it at least six times before your taste buds become accustomed to it.

I can't imagine eating shit 6 times to like anything, unless it alters perceptions reality.

Everyone says the same thing about beer, but they keep drinking it.

I’ve never really come to terms with the phrase ‘it’s an acquired taste’. Why would I want to acquire a taste I don’t already have?

Are you also having shortages in your country as well?

We seem unaffected, our preferred eggs are about $2.50 USD per dozen.

Our egg prices are high, about $5.50/dozen. What was that first-day promise? Where is it now?

Quote:The Trump administration's secretary of agriculture, Brooke Rollins, suggested Americans keep chickens in their back yards in response to surging egg prices on Sunday during a Fox News appearance.

Newsweek contacted the Department of Agriculture for comment on Tuesday via email outside of regular office hours.

RE: Noteworthy News
Lets do some chicken math. A family of four, raising four chickens, at retail prices (out here)

Year 1 they will be out roughly $450 bucks for about 400 eggs. The value of 400 eggs is $148
Year 2 $450 1k $370
Year 3 $450 1k $370
Year 4 $650 1k $370 (flock replacement)
Repeats from 2.

$2000 out for $1258 in retail. You could buy 2k more eggs with the difference that you lost buying feed. Chickens are a scale, space, and verticality thing.
(even at scale it breaks even on the seventh year, conservatively)

What's the "1k" in your equation there? Eggs?
